The WOOF Center for Active Pets in St. George, Utah is hosting snake awareness training on Saturday, April 1, 2017 beginning at 9 am (Utah time) 8am (AZ time)
The location for this training will be held at the Littlefield Firehouse, Beaver Dam Arizona, 630 N. Highway 91 (approximately 30 miles west of St. George)
It is $120 for a 3 to 4 hour outdoor session. If there is a second dog from the same household, the second dog is $100.
The class will be instructed by Jay Smith who has 15 years experience in the field. A live, de-fanged rattlesnake is used. The three sources of sight, scent and sound are associated with snakes and behavior modification with the dog is achieved by controlled use of an e-collar.
Refreshments will be provided.
